Itinerary Day
1: Arrive at Windhoek’s International Hosea Kutako
Airport. Transfer from the airport is arranged on request. Drive
directly to accommodation in an easterly direction. Aclimatize
and relax at pool in anticipation for the activities of the
next day. Spend afternoon on a game and nature drive. Supper
and a early nights rest. Day
2: After breakfast, depart on a nature drive. You spend
the morning taking a climb into the caves and learn about the
history and insects that inhabit the cave. Alternatively, if
arranged with a Game Ranch in the area, you visit the elephants.
After a morning filled with adventure, you have lunch at a venue.
After lunch, participate in activities on offer or relax at
the pool and enjoy refreshments before enjoying a sundowner
and a magnificent sunset. Prepare for supper and a good nights
rest. Day 3: After breakfast
depart for Gobabis, the capital of the east. Spend some time
in the town. After a short stopover, continue to a lodge in
the north of Gobabis, that is the home of many big cats and
other wildlife. Here you will spend time with cheetahs, leopard
and lion as well as the multitude of small and medium size animals
that have found a home here. You will find excellent opportunities
to do some photography as well as spend time to relax at the
pool and enjoy drinks and find out about each and every one
of the animals that live here. After an active day you return
to the accommodation to freshen up. Supper and sleep over.
Day 4: After breakfast,
a repeat of the previous day, as you will need plenty of time
to see and study all the animals that you did not see on the
day before. The afternoon is spent at leisure, sundowner in
the lapa, supper and a good nights rest. Day
5: After breakfast pack up and travel in a westerly direction
towards Windhoek. Arrive at accommodation and check in before
participating in a City tour, a Katatura township tour followed
by some shopping at the Namibia Craft Centre and going to some
exclusive souvenir shops in the city. Return to the accommodation
for supper and sleep over. Day
6: After breakfast you travel in a northern direction
for a game drive to see White Rhinocerus, the rare Sable antelope
and watch a lion feed before enjoying a lunch at the reserve.
After lunch continue to another guestfarm to see cheetah, leopard
and rhinocerus. Return to accommodation and participating in
a City tour, a Katatura township tour followed by some more
shopping or simply relax at the pool with a long drink. Return
to the accommodation for supper and sleep over or be taken to
the airport for the departure back home. Transfer
to the airport is arranged on request.

Budget
Guided (Camping) Tour from N$ 8488.00

The price includes (valid till 31. Oct. 2007): airport
pick up, guide for entire trip, fuel, accommodation and
breakfast on first and last morning, wildlife centre entrance
fee, accommodation, camping equipment, except sleeping
bags (which can be hired at extra cost) Excluded are:
City or Katatura Township Tours, evening meals (braai
meat, veggies & bread), drinks & snacks, extra
4x4 excursions or any optional excursions, visas, personal
travel insurance and any personal items

Terms
and Conditions of Orupuka Transfers & Tours cc (OT&T)
Reservation, Confirmation
and Payment
The confirmation of a booking is seen as a final contract
between the client and ORUPUKA TRANSFERS & TOURS cc
furthermore refered to as OT&T.
A booking is automatically confirmed and accepted with
the final confirmation invoice. Together with the confirmation
OT&T requests a non-refundable 25% deposit of the
total price. The contract will be effective from receipt
of deposit. Until then the correspondence is merely a
quotation, subject to price changes and availibility.
Final payment is due to an account, not later than 8 weeks
prior to arrival. On receipt of final payment the travel
documents will be deposited for the clients attention
at the car hire company, the transfer company or the first
accommodation in Namibia, or if preferred faxed or posted
directly to you at home, at an additional postage fee.
You are welcome to pay by Visa or Master
Credit Card! Cancellations
Any cancellation must be given in writing. Due to the
varied and stringent cancellation policies of the different
accommodation establishments the following applies:

No refunds are made for a change of
itinerary during the trip or for services booked but not
claimed. Clients must have a separate insurance for such
instances.
Insurance OT&T
strongly recommends that clients take out a comprehensive
travel and cancellation insurance and advises to
take out insurances for medical expenses, luggage, accidents
and cash money. OT&T will
not accept any liability for injury, illness, death, damage
and/or financial loss of the clients on the journey.
OT&T undertakes merely the
mediation of someone else’s performance and will
not adhere to the performance as such. Driver’s
Licences (if required)
The client undertaking a self-drive tour is responsible
to obtain a valid international driver’s licence
before arrival. The driver’s licence of the country
of origin must also be presented on request.
Visas, Passports and Health Regulations
It is the responsibility of each client to ensure that
passports and visas are valid for the countries visited.
OT&T will not be liable
for any visas etc. not held by guests. Medical advice
about Anti-Malaria precautions (especially in the northern
parts of the country) should be commenced prior to arrival.
It is the obligation of the client to ensure that he or
she is medically fit and able to embark upon a planned
tour. |
